News Stories- Parent's Afternoon/Evening - 10/03/2020
We are holding parents afternoon/evening on Tuesday between 1:30pm - 6:30pm. Please return the letter to your child's class teacher to make an appointment. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday and discussing your child's progress. - World Book Day - 05/03/2020
At Catherine Infants we love reading, so this year we would like the children to celebrate by dressing up in a costume that goes with their favourite book or story. We look forward to seeing our children in their costumes on Thursday! - Half Term Holiday - School Closes on 14/02/2020
School will close on 14/02/2020 for February half term. School will open again on Monday 24th February 2020. We hope all our children, parent's and staff have a lovely half term! - Ofsted Rating 'Outstanding'! - Catherine Infant School
On the 19th and 20th of November Ofsted inspected our school. We are very pleased to inform you that the outcome of our inspection is that our school is now rated as 'Outstanding'! Please click the above link to view the report. - Aladdin Pantomime - 06/12/2019
On Friday our Star, Comet and Asteroid classes will be watching a performance of 'Aladdin' in school. Please make sure voluntary contributions of £3 are paid to your child's class teacher by Thursday 5th December. Thank you! - Christmas Post Box - 09/12/2019 to 13/12/2019
On the above dates we will have our Christmas post box in school once again. Throughout the week pupils will be delivering the Christmas cards around school. - Christmas Assembly Performance - 09/12/2019, 11/12/2019 & 12/12/2019

On Tuesday all Year 1 pupils will be going to visit the local Church on Weymouth Street as part of the Year 1 topic work which includes RE. If you have not already done so please return the permission slip to your child's class teacher. Thank you. - Christmas Clothes Day - 13/12/2019
On 13/12/19 we would like children to pay £1 to wear a Christmas jumper or something else that is Christmassy. All the money raised will go toward the ‘Save the Children’ charity. Thank you for your support. - Book Fair Week - 26/11/2019 to 29/11/2019
From Tuesday to Friday this week we will have the Book Fair in school for our parents and children to come to see after school from 3:15pm - 4:15pm. Every book will be half price!! We look forward to seeing you all.
