  The Rainbow children are looking forward to the travelling farm visiting tomorrow. We hope they enjoy meeting all the animals.
• 10/05/2019 - Comet 1 & 4 Trip!
  On 10/05/19, Comet 1 & 4 will be visiting the Leicester Botanic Gardens. The children will be participating in a series of activities using the variety of habitats. Comet 2 & 3 visited the Botanic Gardens on Tuesday of this week and had a fantastic time!
• Reading Buddy Website - meeting for parents.
  Please remember to attend the Reading Buddy website information meeting in the hall on 2.5.19 to hear how you can help your child at home with their reading using this new website. We look forward to meeting you.
• 11/04/2019 - Comets Vaisakhi Assembly (2:15pm)
  We look forward to seeing all those parents who will be attending the Vaisakhi performance. Our Comet classes have been very busy practising their performance. All staff at Catherine Infant School would like to wish you all a very Happy Vaisakhi!

• Big Pedal Results!
  Congratulations everyone. We were 5th in the country for large primary schools in the one day Big Pedal challenge. 91.84% of pupils used human power to come to school on 04/04/19
• 04/04/2019 - Big Pedal Day 2019!
  Our school will be taking part in the Big Pedal one-day challenge on Thursday 4th April! We would love to see as many children, parents and staff as possible use their 'human power' to walk, cycle or scoot to school, there are lots of prizes to be won!
• 27/02/2019 Year 2 Art Wow Day
  Year 2 are studying the work of 4 famous artists - Monet, Klee, Matisse & Picasso.They'll create masterpieces using different techniques in colour, pattern, texture, line, shape, form and space using different media. Enjoy your creative day.
• 01/03/2019 Year 1 WOW Day - Are we proud to be British?
  Year 1 will be learning about the four countries that make up the United Kingdom: Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland. Don't forget to wear red, white and blue and enjoy your afternoon tea year 1!
• 14/02/2019 - Dr Bike Day in School!
  As part of our continued work with Sustrans Cycling Project we have Dr Bike in school on 14/02/19. Parents and children in Stars, Comets or Asteroids can bring their bikes into school for a free bicycle safety check!
